The Town of Derry has retained Hoyle, Tanner & Associates to prepare a design to reconstruct the Fordway Bridge. Preliminary survey and geotechnical work was conducted last year. At this stage, a preliminary design has been completed.
Hoyle, Tanner & Associates has prepared the Bid and documents are available for viewing in the DPW Office. To purchase a bid package you need to go to Hoyle, Tanner & Assoiciates in Manchester NH. Go to Opportunites to get additional information regarding the bid documents. (Bid closing April 20th)
Construction to begin just after Independance Day (July 6). The Bridge will be closed for 4 weeks, so please find an alternate route. In August, it is expected that the bridge will be open to one-lane traffic.
