Jon was hired by the Derry Fire Department in February of 2010 as the Director of Communications, Fire Alarm, and Information Technology. Jon is excited about his new position and is tasked with the responsibility of directing the Emergency Communications Center and its personnel, the Municipal Alarm System, as well as the department's Information Technology Division.
Jon has 17 years in public safety starting his career as a police explorer. Jon worked for ten years with an area police department where he created and oversaw the communications training program, was the IT Manager, and was part of the RFP and design process of a new municipal complex.
Jon is an APCO certified trainer and holds multiple FEMA/ICS certifications. Jon is also a Firefighter, and EMT-I serving as a Lieutenant on his hometown fire department.
