Jon comes to the Derry Fire Department with 17 years in public safety, starting his career as a police explorer. Jon worked for an area police department dispatching police, Fire, and EMS. He also created and oversaw the communications training program, was the IT Manager, and was part of the RFP and design process of a new municipal complex. Jon has also worked for Boston MedFlight as a Communications Specialist. Jon is tasked with the responsibility of directing the Emergency Communications Center and its personnel, the Municipal Alarm System, as well as the department's
Information Technology Division.
Jon is an APCO certified trainer, EMT-Intermediate, and holds multiple FEMA/ICS certifications.
